Hi All,
Did you have a great weekend, hopefully those in the 100's have some AC or swimming pools. We reached 107 on Saturday and that calculates out to 110 with the heat index, but at least it isn't the 42 straight days we had last year. Quiet weekend for us, which is fine with me, since last weekend, we had sleepovers and company for swimming and dinner.
The card for today was inspired by a card I saw in the new Cardmaker magazine that had flower soft for leaves on a "fall" card. I remembered that I had some flowersoft but wasn't ready to do an autumn card just yet and went with more of a flower bouquet.
As you may have noticed I finished Beachcombers by Nancy Thayer over the weekend and working on 2nd Chance by James Patterson. I am so enjoying reading again and also Goodreads what a great way to keep it all organized, find new books and share with you what I am reading.
Hope you enjoy!

This is so pretty and fresh! Sorry you are enduring wicked heat. We had a bit of a cool down, and it seemed to perk things back up. I must admit that I own Flower Soft, and rarely think to use it. Thanks for reminding me to dig it out!
beautiful! I need to use my flower soft, forget I have any, thanks for the reminder!
Very beautiful! Love the colors you chose!
So pretty!!!! Glad you went with summer blossoms. I'm not ready to think about Fall!!!

Absolutely beautiful. Love your use of Flower Soft. Stay cool... not looking forward to your heat as it is headed our way.
This is beautiful Kathy, pretty colors.
Well you know New England weather..I had my electric blanket on for 2 nights in a row :)
WOW!! Kathy, this is so lovely! Beautiful way to use the Flowersoft and love that sentiment!
It's a hot one for sure this summer! Stay in that pool (although it's probably a little warm too) or the AC!
Thanks for letting me know about Goodreads! I'll check it out - I spend probably more time reading than I do making cards! Don't know if I've read 2nd Chance but love James Patterson's books!

This is SOOO pretty! I love the flower soft.
It is hot here too, but not that hot. Thank goodness because the party for my dad's 70th bday was outside. It was not bad in the low 90's and a decent breeze. Now if only we could get some rain.
Beautiful card!! You have inspired me to take a look at my flower soft stash.... and yep, still unopened. ;( maybe I could send them to you. They need love!!
Loving Lucky's pix today. He sure knows how to grab your attention. Mine is way to big to fit on a step. :)
Beautiful work with these flower soft blossoms, Kathy!! Such a very pretty card!

So pretty! I have seen flower soft in catalogs and stores, but have yet to purchase any... I may need to remedy that after this wonderful card!!
This is very pretty, I love the pops of color with your flower soft.
I have read the James Patterson one, but not the other one. I love getting book recommendations from other people, I have found a bunch of new favorites that way. I also joined a book club and we have read several books lately that were different from what I normally read and I have really enjoyed Kristen Hannah's book "Winter Garden".
Beautiful flowers, beautiful card! I love the look of the flowersoft, but have never tried it. Really pretty!
