Lucky's One Layer Friday and Watercolor Paper

Hi All,

OK, now don't fall off your chairs, yes I actually did a card for today! One thing I want to say is thank you to everyone for being patient with me during this summer, my DD and I have really had a great summer and became so much closer, thinking that might be her age, as she gets older.

Today's card is a result of my playing with some watercolor paper on my desk and different things I was doing. I used some fancy scissors to cut the edge then sponged some TH Distress Ink on the inside, just about 2" in from the edge. The outside has chalks on the bottom for water and a sunset, then, the image stamped over top. Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful weekend!

Oh, it's another beauty, my friend. You have a gift with making those colors sing!! I absolute love the subtlety yet striking look of this card. And that paper is gorgeous.

Sorry, I'm late! It's been hectic in my tiny household lately. I rescued a kitten on Thurs in the parking lot at my work place. Our lives have been turned over since. She's a cutie and a handful! Always crying for attention... our other cats are not making it easier for us at all. I think she's a little too over active for them. Just wanted to share with ya since we are both animals lovers. ;) still need a name for her.

The colors on this are just gorgeous. I just found a pack of watercolor paper the other day and was thinking about playing with it. I am beyond impressed that you can use decorative scissors and keep the edge straight!
