What is the Lucky Stamper?

The Lucky Stamper Blog, named after our dog Lucky is a place for you to visit, to see projects, as well as some tutorials, that I have made, all starting with cardstock, ink and stamps. You will see projects such as cards maybe even a scrapbook page or two, as well as some gifts that you can make. So check back often to see what goodies are posted and see what Lucky is doing now.

Hope you enjoy!

School Time!

Hi All,

Hope you had a great weekend and that those in the path of the storm are safe. So today is the first day of school, always high energy as that day arrives, but oh so quiet when everyone has left the house.

That also means, I need to get serious about my studies, getting through my Medical Transcription course so that I can graduate by February and finally get a job, at least a stay at home one, with flexible hours. The past several months I focused more on making and posting cards, instead of studying and that will have to change so most of my focus will be studying. No, I am not stopping card making, but posting will be more sporadic, similar to what I did this summer. Figure if I am a good girl and get my homework done, then I can play in the craft room, need a carrot you know. Just wanted to explain so if you don't see postings every week or just see one a week, you know that my face is buried in books or listening to medical reports.

Anyway, I did want to share some of the jewelry pieces that I made, unfortunately it seems my Canon Rebel is rebelling against me and no matter where I take my pictures even using my box with the lights, the pictures have been awful, but I really don't feel like paying for a new one right now. Sorry the colors of the pieces really don't get to shine through.

Take care,
Kathy and Lucky

Not that I need another hobby, but I need a longer length of necklace, and I was thinking I should just start making my own. These are fantastic! Understand about your studies. Will enjoy your work whenever it shows up! Best of luck in your studies, Kathy!

These are so pretty! I love that you craft with paper, decorate cakes and now make jewelry. You are a crafty Renaissance woman!

Good luck with completing your studies! We will all be here when you have time. I'm going to start a couple of courses this spring to get my Six Sigma certification.

Your pieces are beautiful. Good luck with your studies. I love your "carrot" idea. I have to do that with house cleaning. If I sit down at the craft table before doing whatever it is I need to do then all I have to show for my day is a stack of colored images!

Oh your post just made me smile huge - this is a gorgeous cache of paper goodness!! Enjoy your nice cup of coffee in a quiet house - by the afternoon, you'll be signing all those back to school papers :)

We made it through Isaac just fine, lots of howling winds and our fence fell as well as some tree limbs, but wow, 10 blocks east of us it was a disaster - trees on houses, cars .. and this was just a wee storm!

Take care, happy studying! x0x0

Gorgeous! Is there no end to your talents?!
So glad you took the time to enjoy your summer. My creativity always moves to the back burner too when school starts, but by Thanksgiving break, I'm usually scheduling some time to unwind! Best of luck with your studies!!

And you can make jewelry too! Is there anything you can't do, Kathy? Be a good student and get that studying done so you can steal away to the craft room to create and post some lovelies.

Love the jewelry. So pretty! Good luck with your studies Kathy. Totally understand about getting carried away with crafting to the detriment of other things. It's so much fun! LOL! Went Joanne's yesterday and could not believe all the new crafting items that have come out since I've been away. Can't wait to start crafting again in a few months.
