Take Note

Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone is doing well, enjoying the end of your summer. School is starting in a week for both my DD and me, since I really need to get back to listening to clinic reports and graduate.

Since getting back into reading I have found that my list of books "to be read" is huge and getting cumbersome even when using my Iphone and the Goodreads App, the list is so long or when buried inside a bookstore/library it takes a while for the list to come up. I tried keeping a separate list in the Notes of my Iphone but that got confusing, so back to taking pictures or writing it down. Over at StampTV, Gina has a cute little video of these small notebooks, which can be used for anything, but I pulled out my PTI, "Take Note" and thought how cute to make one for my growing list of books. Taking it one step further, my friend loves to read, can even read a book a day, so I made one for her as well. Hope she likes it. Enjoy!

After my own heart....I know the thing now is everything electronic, from lists to books but I just love the feel of holding a book in my hands and a list just calls to me, lol. My MIL used to keep a notebook of books to read and a place to check off when complete. Beautiful notebooks and idea!!

Hi Kathy! These are such fun little notebooks! I have to tell you, even with all technology to store ideas...I still sometimes find it SO much easier to just keep lists using the trusty pen and paper. Especially when you can use a cute notebook like this one. Awesome idea! :)

Precious way to keep up with your book list, Kathy!! Sometimes technology does not trump pen and paper!!

Kathy, this are so pretty - and useful! Great way to keep a list of books too. I really like the way the pen attaches to the side1
Cute photo of Lucky!

What a great idea and fun books. I'm also an avid reader, and am always forgetting to note a book/author of a I would like to check out. These little notebooks would really come in handy!

Love how you dressed up these notebooks! I tried to keep things organized on my phone and found that I was using my little spiral bound calendar more than the phone! Technology is wonderful, but sometimes it's just as handy to do it the 'old' way!!
Lucky's face is just adorable! Poor pup, his toys are attacking him...

What a great idea. I love to read and often get book recommends from other people and have had no system to keep up with them. Either I think I will remember the name (and never do) or I write it down on a piece of paper to get lost. I am going to have to borrow this idea! Your books are fabulous, and I really like them both, especially the one with the yellow.

Be still my heart, these notebooks are fabulous! Altered notebooks are a weakness of mine - love them - and can't get enough!
